There are always a wide-range of design projects on the boards at ALSC.
While we cant share all the details with you, we can give you a glimpse of where were headed on some interesting places and spaces.
Palouse Regional Transportation Cooperative
Located on the Freeman school campus, the Palouse Region Transportation Cooperative includes a bus maintenance shop, training room, offices and covered bus parking for 22 buses. The vehicle maintenance building has two bus maintenance bays and one bus wash bay. The shop provides storage for parts and equipment with convenient covered access to both parking canopies for minor maintenance checks and driver access to buses.
ALSC’s design draws upon the material and building form vocabulary established by the existing campus - the newly renovated High School and Elementary Schools (also designed by ALSC). The shop building block is planned to be concrete masonry block – durable, long lasting and economical. The public portion of the building will be constructed with frame construction with metal siding to match materials used elsewhere on campus.
