This new 48,500 square foot elementary school replaced a sprawling 1950’s school facility located on a very small site in Northwest Spokane. The two-story building provides a unified and compact design that maximizes space for instructional uses.

The exterior of the building was designed to relate to and respect the neighboring single-story homes. Masonry materials, forms and scale-reducing elements such as sunscreens and canopies are used to blend the “new Ridgeview” with its neighborhood.

Construction cost for this new elementary school was $6,200,000.
