A woodworking class in seventh grade forever changed the trajectory of Mark Irving’s life when he learned he loved viewing problems from different perspectives. This set Mark down a path of working in the construction and satellite installation industry, where he discovered solving complex problem and realized a career in architecture was right for him.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of Idaho. At ALSC, he values his co-workers and appreciates the teamwork required to get a project done.
With a love for science, Mark’s favorite project with ALSC is the Meyer Health and Sciences Building Expansion at North Idaho College. If he could travel anywhere, Mark would head to the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area, the Tetons, and southern Utah. His greatest adventure, however, is spending time with his kids.
