During the last decade, one team has won the All Sports Trophy for the Northwest Conference - the Whitworth Pirates. To finally create a united home for 16 sports programs, the new Athletics Leadership Team Center connects coaches and players in a central gathering space called ‘the community of sports’.
The 28,000 SF building features a 131-stall football locker room, meeting spaces, and a kitchen and lounge area. Offices are provided for the Athletic Department's leadership team including head coaches and many assistant coaches, with additional collaboration areas that can be used by teams and other groups.
