The $55 million Spokane Convention Center Completion project was completed via a design-build delivery method. Our team included ALSC Architects (Architect of Record), LMN (Design Architect) and Garco Construction.
The project involved construction of a 90,000 square foot addition with exhibit, meeting and support space to the north side of the exhibit hall, which is at the northwest corner of Spokane Falls Boulevard and Division Street. It also includes improvements to the adjacent Centennial Trail and portions of the Spokane River shoreline near the Convention Center complex.
“The convention center has turned into a building people really like being in. In addition to helping generate economic impact, the convention center was designed to easily connect its users to Riverfront Park, the Centennial Trail, and the Spokane River. It’s tightly connected to the river’s edge; it’s a significant thing we accomplished. We continue to receive great feedback from people outside the area who come here for events."
